Beach Tomato Takes on the BVI [VIDEO]

Beach Tomato, the UK-based travel agency, recently held a contest that awarded one lucky contestant an 11-day dream trip to the British Virgin Islands. Contest winner Sophia Kearney will later take her trip to the BVI. But currently, a crew including BT’s Editor Kirsty Hathaway, videographer Edward Schofield and writer Holly Rains are currently doing some recon in a trip to document some of our finer amenities and sun-fun products before the contest winner takes  her vacation to paradise. In their first day, the crew packed up in longtime surfer and BVI resident Dana Miller’s island ride. He took them down to the super secluded Lava Flow Beach (Rogue’s Bay), where they caught some epic waves.

In the second day, the crew met up with water enthusiast Andy Morrell, and shot some video of the ever-so-popular sport of Stand-Up Paddleboarding in BVI waters.

They also spent some time in Cane Garden Bay, where they met Jake and Lion at the GreenVI Glass Studio. There, they filmed a lesson on the art, and learned about the studio that works entirely with recycled materials. Daily activities will be posted on Beach Tomato’s blog here.
