Second Engineer

Necker Island (BVI) Limited is seeking one Second Engineer. The successful candidate must be willing to relocate to Necker Island, as this is a live-on role.

Qualification:

• have a diesel mechanic qualification, marine or plant based, to include diagnostic and service information software training
• at least five years’ experience operating and maintaining diesel power generation equipment with either marine based or land based micro-grid operations.
• experience of operating synchronizing switchgear and automated distribution systems at a minimum of 480V is necessary, as is experience with operating reverse osmosis water treatment plants at a scale of 10,000 GPD or more
