I am interested in buying a house and moving to BVI with my wife.
I have my own funds to live off and we have no interest in seeking a job or setting up a business. Can we live in BVI the whole year or are we likely to be restricted to 6 months each calendar year.

As far as we know, you are able to live all year round – the choice to live at the residence for 6 months is a common trait for the ‘snowbirds.’ The tricky part of the process is acquiring a property as the process can take up to a year.
