About this opportunity

Our client, an independent member of a worldwide network of high-quality independent accountancy and business services firms, provides its growing and established international clients in the Caribbean with a comprehensive range of Audit, Accounting, Taxation, Corporate Recovery and Insolvency, Business Support and Consultancy services.

The firm is looking for exceptional candidates to join its expanding business advisory practice as Business Advisory Associates in the British Virgin Islands.

Our client’s Business Advisory services department assists and works with entities of differing sizes from various industries e.g. Banks, Trusts, Company Management, Mutual Funds, Hotels and Resorts, Construction, Legal, Statutory Boards and Educational Institutions, which makes the work varied and interesting. They take the opportunity to understand the objectives of their BVI-based clients’ businesses and work alongside their management teams to ensure that these are achieved in an timely and efficient manner.

During periods between Business Advisory engagements, you may assist at times our external audit department.

What you’ll need

To be successful, candidates should possess the following:

  • A professional qualification such as ACA/CA, CPA, ACCA
  • Have at least 12 months’ practical post-qualification internal and/or external audit experience with a reputable firm of chartered or certified accountants
  • Be computer literate and able to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines and travel without notice
  • Possess no police record and a clean full driving licence
