Hi, I’ve just recently moved to the Island from the UK. I was a regular blood donor at home. I was just wondering if it is done here and what is the procedure for blood donations on Island?

Yes Peebles Hospital does this – the main hospital here. Same drill as anywhere with regard to 3 months recovery before your subsequent donation i.e. when you’ve given blood, you have to give it 3 months before you donate again.
