My wife and I will be visiting Tortula BVI on September 14 for a day trip as part of a Norwegian Cruise Line cruise.
My wife has a Thai passport and a valid US Tourist visa. ( I have a US passport) She will be in the US as part of a longer vacation. We will be starting and ending the cruise in Miami.
Is a BVI tourist visa necessary in this case where she will be entering from the United States on a valid visa, returning to the US and traveling on a cruise ship, and will be in Tortula for a few hours?
We have checked a number of sources including calls and visits to the U.K. Consulate and web sites but have received inconsistent answers. We received the below My wife’s situation seems to align with the first paragraph from the web site included below.
