Work permit with police caution

I am looking at moving to BVI when I qualify as a chartered accountant next year. 
Around 4 years ago I received a ‘police caution’ for possession of a small amount of cannabis. I was not arrested or taken to court. As far as I’m aware this will show up on a police report required by BVI work permit.
Will this result in my work permit being denied?
I received the caution in the UK, where I live
