Financial Analyst/Forensic Accountant

Martin Kenney & Co., Solicitors (“MKS”) are looking for a Financial Analyst or Forensic Accountant to join the Investigations Unit of our firm.  Salary for the position will be commensurate with experience.

The job title would be that of Financial Analyst and would involve the following duties: analyzing financial data and creating models to support the making of decisions or drawing conclusions; reporting on financial performance to internal and outside stakeholders; working closely with the forensic accounting and fraud and asset recovery investigations teams in Sao Paulo to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support; providing analysis trend reports and forecasts; recommending actions for optimal asset recovery case management. The successful applicant will report to the Managing Director of MKS’s Investigations Unit.

Qualification:

• The successful candidate will have 15 + years of business finance experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or Fraud Investigations
• Familiarity with onshore/offshore companies and structures in necessary, along with high proficiency in understanding/interpreting financial reporting/statements and AML regulations
• The preference is for a Portuguese or Spanish speaker
