My work permit was just approved and I am wondering am I allowed to bring some of my personal belongings to the BVI when I move there? Is there a limit to how much “stuff” I can bring?

Thanks,
Short answer, no.
Some people ship cars, some people will even ship an entire container full of furniture. You will have to pay for the shipping and import duty. If a lot of your items are not brand new it might be difficult determining the value of your items.
For duty rates refer to this page:

You can call a local shipper and get more info.
