When I have obtained a work permit working for the company and take leave – returning to my country for a month and return to work in BVI would I have to go through the procedure again or is the work permit valid for a year with multiple entry?

If your BVI work permit is for a year contract, you can come and go as you like during the contract. If you plan on coming or going while your work permit is in process make sure your immigration stamp has not expired before you intend to return to the BVI. Keep in mind that your BVI work permit does not permit you to freely travel into the USA unless you are a citizen.
