Accountant

The Caribbean Insurers Group of Companies is seeking a qualified Accountant (CA,CPA or ACCA).

Duties will include preparation of accounts for annual audits, reviewing & monitoring internal control procedures, preparation and review of monthly and annual reports for insurance underwriters and reinsurance brokers, preparation of required corporate documents and preparation and review of insurance quotations.

Qualification:

  • at least two years’ experience with an internationally recognized Public Accounting firm to fill the position of Accountant
  • strong computer skills and have a strong knowledge of the applications Microsoft Access, Excel and Word as well as accounting software packages
  • strong knowledge of IFRS
